School period is a time for playing, learning and growing...
Small World Junior High School Roorkee was established in 2006 with a mission, 'A march towards excellence' by our visionary Principal Dr. Preeti Sharma. The school started with it's maiden year 2006-2007 with a strength of only twelve students of playgroup under the aegis and supervision of our honourable Principal. Presently being a highly acclaimed school in Roorkee, the 'Small World' caters to over six hundred students with a vision of moulding the young minds into well integrated, responsible personalities and thereby maturing the future dynamic pioneers to lead the World.
Empowering every student towards their future goals, imparting them both scholastic and coscholastic aptitudes along with diverse life skills in tune with the need of modern time and instilling in them sound values vital for an all-round comprehensive personality development, the 'Small World School' offers various facilities like wall climbing, swimming, music classes, horse riding etc. under trained professionals to enhance and groom the inherent potentials of the students.
I am proud of the wide range of educational opportunities that our school offers in literacy, numeracy, science, interactive classrooms, art and craft, vocal music, dance, physical education, sports, field trips and camps. We cater to the needs of all our students and ensure that the curriculum we deliver develops the whole child and makes them Leaders of Tomorrow.
Small World is a co-educational school, aiming at providing quality education in a disciplined and intellectually stimulating environment. Each student is given the opportunity to develop traits of patience and tolerance to other culture in order to become a truly global citizen.
The teachers are highly qualified and give their best to shape up the students’ life in the finest possible way. There are departments for every subject with departmental heads working with total commitment to bring in the best results. Manning the departments is an adequate number of trained teachers according to the need of the students.
